A Better Alternative For a Confident Future

In today's world there are many options for a young lady who wants to have a physical relationship with a guy, but not get pregnant. Growing up we are taught that birth control pills, patches, and condoms are suitable inhibitors of pregnancy. The only question is can they entirely prevent an unplanned pregnancy? The answer to that question depends on who you ask, but my personal answer is no. As with most problems there is always a second option. In this situation, a second option for preventing pregnancy would be abstinence. It is my personal conviction that abstinence is the only certain obstruction to pregnancy. It is also my unrestricted intention to thoroughly explain why I believe this to be true.

To start off, man is not perfect. Since man is not perfect, one could conclude that anything man made will be capable of errors. This would include every birth control product on the market. Truly understanding this fact can leave a person feeling very insecure about a great number of things including birth control. Multiple advertisements designed to make one feel secure about their birth control options pop up on every street corner, magazine, and television across America. Most of the time they succeed in making young ladies feel secure until an unexplained error occurs and they find out they are pregnant. The truth is there is only one birth controller that you can put absolute security in that will not fail, and that is abstinence. There is no safe birth controller that can guarantee the prevention of pregnancy all the time. Abstinence is the only secure way to prevent an unplanned pregnancy. Considering the fact that birth control products are fallible, let me ask you a question. Is there a way to have safe sex and not get pregnant? Again, your answer may be different than mine, but my personal answer is no, there is not. When using birth control products there will always be a risk. I've always believed that the only true way to overcome this risk is abstinence. If you don't engage in sex you can't get pregnant, and that's a fact you can believe: Abstaining from all sexual conduct will guarantee you will not get pregnant. The world claims that there is such a thing as safe sex. If you believe this I challenge you this day to prove it and show me evidence to back up this claim. Personally, I don’t believe the world's claim, and if you are wise, you won’t either. How can sex be safe when you run the risk of getting pregnant? Don't be a fool! There is no such thing as safe sex.

In conclusion the choice is yours. No one else can make the decision for you. Which will you choose? Whether abstinence or birth control products, it’s entirely up to you. Whatever you decide just know that you alone will have to live with the consequences. The keys to a confident future are in your hands. It's up to you to use them. I decided a long time ago that I’m not going to have sex until I am married. Abstinence is the only way I can have complete control over my future. My challenge to you is simple. Make the time to consider your options before you do something you’ll regret. Think about your future and what you want in life. Ask yourself this question. Which choice will give me complete confidence in my future? Don’t rush yourself because what you decide will play a huge part in your life. God gave us many undeniable rights including the power to make up our minds. Don't be irresponsible! Don’t abuse your power!
